Through the years, poetry has praised nature, the way painters have tried to capture the beauty of the landscape. With concerns about our environmental crisis, many poets are writing poems that warn and admonish. Poetry invades the mind and heart. The hope is that along with information from scientists the words of poets will contribute to conquering the ecological crises. This session presents poems that prepare the soil for change. Join us to hear poems that resonate with Earth Day.
